Today Alie ate a whole jar of carrots! I am so proud of her! She really loves them. She was in a good mood for pretty much the whole day. She did a lot of playing while mommy did laundry. She is really starting to get the hang of entertaining herself, which is a good thing. Oh, one thing I noticed today, she has a thing for music. I was watching the tv, she was playing in her baby "cadillac" as grandpa calls it, and she was having a good 'ol time. The show was "The Caroline Rhea Show" well, Alie wasn't interested. One of the guests on the show though, and 11 year old boy, was there to play his violin. As soon as he started playing, Alison whipped around to look at the tv. She didn't take her eyes off the screen till he was done. When he finished, she looked at me with a huge grin as to say "Wow, that was amazing!" I thought her intrest in the music was amazing. I have really tried to make music apart of her life. I want her to hear music and it to be a comfort to her. I want her to maybe one day use music as an outlet, a way to express herself. I put her to sleep every night listening to as much classical music as I could get in her stereo. She listens to the same 5 CDs every night, with almost every good classical song/composure there is. I know that music is mostly to stimulate a baby's brain, but I also would also like her to dream it, to hear it so often, it becomes apart of her. No, I don't expect her to be some great musician or anything. I just want her to have healthy outlets, something she has known from birth. I want her to hear one of those songs and feel the warmth of my love. Sounds strange, I know. I guess I just want what every parent wants, happy, healthy, loving children. I am sure I won't be let down!

Alison ate her first vegtable today. I am starting her out on carrots. The first bite, she made faces, but decided she liked them. She ate half the jar, which is a ton for her. I can't believe how well she takes to different foods. I took some more pictures of her, but my time is so lacking, it may be a while before I get them up.

Alie and I went to visit Poppa today at his office. We borrowed his digital camera to get some new pics of Alie. I took about 100. I tried to email them to myself, but for some reason, it didn't work, crappy IWon! I guess we will go tomorrow and try again. Alison was in such good spirits today, she hardly cried at all. She also really enjoys my grandpa. Every time he holds her, she falls asleep, I think it is because he is such a comfortable person.

Yippie, Alie rolled over from her back to her tummy for the first time yesterday (18th). I was video taping her at the time and she eventually did. I new she was getting more active and her arms and legs are getting so strong, so I sorta expected it. Her hair is growing in thick and getting longer. I would say it is about an inch long. She has also discovered her feet, she started grabbing them for the first time about march 10th. She also started this spitting thing. She acutally will blow rasberries at you when she is mad. It just cracks me up. I don't think she realizes what she is doing, just making another noise. So cute!

This is going to be the new home for "Bloggin' about Alison". Why you ask? Well, the other website is much harder to update. I have to enter the entries into the HTML text, which means lots of extra work. Here I just visit Blogger, type an entry, and go. Since Alison is getting so much more active, I have to be as well. It will take a while to get it all transfered over, so please bear with me. I will let you know when it is all completely finished!!!
