I am finally posting! Sorry it has been so long! Alie is now 2 years old, still can't believe that. Her vocabulary has quadrupled since I last posted. She can speak 2-3 word sentances. I will try to post more often about her. I just hadn't been in a blogging mood for so long. Here are some pictures of her birthday. I'll post more pictures of her, probably tomorrow.

Here are the pictures that I took on her 2nd birthday, sorry they are so late!

Alie has even more new words. She now says "wow", "weee", "ouch", "baaa" (like a sheep), "See ya", "yay", and "Alie". It's so funny to hear her say her own name, she repeats it back to you when you call her. She can't say the S part in "See ya", so she says it like "eee ya". She got that saying from an alphabet toy she got from christmas. It says that when it is shut off, or shuts off automatically.

Well Alie went to the doctors yesterday. It was for her 15 mo. check up even though she is 16 mo. now. She had to miss her 15 mo. one due to she had the double ear infection. The doc said she is doing well in her growth and learning skills. She now weighs 21 lbs and 4 oz. which is in the 10th percentile (means she is only heavier than 10 kids out of 100). She is 30 inches tall, so that puts her in the 25th percentile. Her head is 18 1/2 " and that is just average or 50%. I guess basically, she is just a small kid. In fact, she has only gained a few ounces since her 12 mo. appt. so she literally is the same size. Actually, she is almost the same size as she was at 9 mo. I just found her paper from then. At that age she was 21 lbs. and 28 inches. Back then, she was considered a tad over average or in 60th percentile. Wow, that means she can still wear her summer clothes this year, hopefully!

In other news, Alie is now officially a walker. She can walk an average of 10 or more steps at a time since sunday. She has been doing more and more walking each day. I put her in dresses mostly, because she hates crawling in them. Her knees get stuck on them, so it forces her to walk. She can also say a few more words. She can now say "thank you" and some of her ABC's as well as sorta sing "Old McDonald" song. She only says the EIEIO part. Her favorite word is "Please". She says it like "peepeepee" sounding like a little chick. This is the word that she says the most, by far.

Alie has made big improvements! She can now take 4 or 5 steps at a time, usually walking to me. She gets so excited when she accomplishes this. Big smiles and squeals, makes me so happy. She also has a new words, she says Uh-Oh, and can bark like a dog. Her new stunt is to bring me things that she wants fixed. She will bring me her empty sippy cup or her bouncing tigger (to turn him on). One thing she is still doing that drives me nuts is her fits. She has new bruises on her forehead due to banging her head when she is mad. I try my best to prevent her banging, but most of them happen when I am not close by or am not looking. It is so nerve wrecking!

Alie has a new thing she does when she throws a fit. As you can see in her picture below, she has a bruised forehead. She now bangs her head on whatever she can find. I just hope this new thing is a faze and that she will quit before she ends up with any brain damage. Click on the pics to see them larger!

Alison has new words now! She can say "Hi", "Bye-bye", "Mommy", "Daddy", "Please", "Yes", "Baby", and "Night-night". She just started saying all of these words basically over the last week. She has also been sick this week since saturday. She has 2 ear infections and a sinus infection. Poor girl has been miserable the whole weekend. We were finally able to go see the doctor today and got her some medicine. I will be so glad to get her feeling better. It just breaks my heart to see her in pain.
