Alie has even more new words. She now says "wow", "weee", "ouch", "baaa" (like a sheep), "See ya", "yay", and "Alie". It's so funny to hear her say her own name, she repeats it back to you when you call her. She can't say the S part in "See ya", so she says it like "eee ya". She got that saying from an alphabet toy she got from christmas. It says that when it is shut off, or shuts off automatically.

Well Alie went to the doctors yesterday. It was for her 15 mo. check up even though she is 16 mo. now. She had to miss her 15 mo. one due to she had the double ear infection. The doc said she is doing well in her growth and learning skills. She now weighs 21 lbs and 4 oz. which is in the 10th percentile (means she is only heavier than 10 kids out of 100). She is 30 inches tall, so that puts her in the 25th percentile. Her head is 18 1/2 " and that is just average or 50%. I guess basically, she is just a small kid. In fact, she has only gained a few ounces since her 12 mo. appt. so she literally is the same size. Actually, she is almost the same size as she was at 9 mo. I just found her paper from then. At that age she was 21 lbs. and 28 inches. Back then, she was considered a tad over average or in 60th percentile. Wow, that means she can still wear her summer clothes this year, hopefully!

In other news, Alie is now officially a walker. She can walk an average of 10 or more steps at a time since sunday. She has been doing more and more walking each day. I put her in dresses mostly, because she hates crawling in them. Her knees get stuck on them, so it forces her to walk. She can also say a few more words. She can now say "thank you" and some of her ABC's as well as sorta sing "Old McDonald" song. She only says the EIEIO part. Her favorite word is "Please". She says it like "peepeepee" sounding like a little chick. This is the word that she says the most, by far.
